About Me
I first started working with patients with breast cancer when I was in college through the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life program, and it truly shaped what I wanted to do in my career. I love being able to connect with my patients and their families and it is a privilege to be a part of their cancer care. Outside of medicine, I love exploring new types of foods and trying new restaurants with my husband. We also enjoy walking trails, going to the lake, and spending time with our family.

Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall provider rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst provider possible and 10 is the best provider possible, what number would you use to rate this provider?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all providers. Learn more about our survey process. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.

Clinical Focus and Research
I am interested in clinical research to develop novel therapeutic agents to further advance the field of breast oncology. My goal is to further the development of novel therapeutic agents through clinical trial development and better access to clinical trials for all patients. I've been involved in research projects to improve the care oncology patients receive as well as clinical research to investigate the genomic differences within breast cancer and how we can find targets to continue to improve personalized breast cancer treatment.
