Duke Health Offers Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic
Convenient Walk-In Care for Student Athletes
Athletes who experience a sports injury, sprain, strain, or bone fracture on the field can be seen quickly at Duke Health’s Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic in Durham. It is open for walk-in patients every Saturday starting August 24 through November 16, 2024 from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM.
Services We Offer
Our board-certified orthopaedic experts offer the following services for young athletes:
- Fracture care, including on-site casting and bracing
- Evaluation of injuries to bones, muscles, ligaments, nerves, or tendons
- On-site X-ray and ultrasound
- Physical therapy consultation
- Evaluation for surgery, as needed
If your child’s injury is life-threatening, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
If your child requires care for an ongoing condition, additional physical therapy sessions, or nutritional counseling, please make an appointment with one of our providers.

After Your Appointment
To maintain peak performance after a clinic visit, you can share the contact information for your child’s regular health care provider. We can consult with their doctor, athletic trainer, physical therapist, or coach to ensure that your child can return to their sport as safely and quickly as possible.
