Duke Health Heritage Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy
At our clinic in Wake Forest, our licensed physical therapists and occupational therapists provide one-on-one care and personalized treatment plans for adults with conditions ranging from spine injuries to balance problems. We offer manual therapy, guided exercise programs, and more to help you improve function and manage pain related to your condition.

Services
We care for people with a range of conditions including fractures, sprains, strains; injuries from motor vehicle accidents; balance problems; and hand pain and mobility issues.
We provide initial evaluations and ongoing physical therapy and occupational therapy to people who need the following types of care:
- Back and neck rehabilitation
- Care for musculoskeletal injuries including those that occur because of a motor vehicle accident
- Fluidotherapy, a type of heat therapy to reduce pain, swelling, and muscle spasms in the extremities
- Hand splinting and hand therapy
- Iontophoresis, which uses electrical currents to deliver pain and other medications through the skin
- Therapy before and after surgery, including joint replacement surgery
- Vestibular therapy to address balance problems

Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Duke Health Heritage Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy is a part of Duke Health Heritage, which is located off South Main Street in Wake Forest, NC. This multi-specialty health facility is home to primary care and many specialty clinics.
