Our Providers
Services
Our procedures are performed with an endoscope, a flexible tube with a light and camera that allows providers to see inside your body. Minimally invasive procedures performed at this clinic include:
- Colorectal cancer screening and diagnostic colonoscopy
- Upper endoscopy to examine the esophagus, stomach, and small intestine
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy to examine the lower rectum and sigmoid colon
Equipment
Our endoscopes are state-of-the-art, and we have video monitors with high-definition imaging that allow us to manipulate contrast to enhance polyp or other lesion detection. We also have the latest tools that provide the safest endoscopic therapy for polyps or small cancers of the GI tract.

Duke Health contracts with most major health insurance carriers and transplant networks, including the ones listed below. Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Duke Gastroenterology Raleigh Endoscopy is located on the 1st floor of 3300 Executive Drive on the Duke Raleigh Campus. We're located about a quarter mile from I-440 on Wake Forest Road.
