Duke Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine North Durham is a referral-only clinic. Our adolescent medicine specialists provide high-quality medical care to adolescents and young adults 12-30 years of age. We understand this is a critical time in a young person’s life. We respect each individual, support their physical and emotional growth, and offer education and skill-building to help adolescents transition to thriving, independent adults.

Adolescent Medicine

We work with adolescents and young adults who benefit from medical care for the following reasons.

  • Menstrual disorders, including polycystic ovary syndrome, abnormal uterine bleeding, and amenorrhea

Chronic Medical Conditions

  • We work closely with adolescents and young adults who are diagnosed with chronic illnesses including neurodevelopmental disabilities.
