About Me
I am a breast cancer surgeon who specializes in benign, high-risk, and malignant breast diseases. My priority as a physician is to ensure that patients and their support systems understand their diagnosis and feel confident in our plan to improve their breast health. Duke Health offers unparalleled, multi-disciplinary approaches to breast cancer treatment along with cutting-edge research, enabling our patients to get the best care possible. As a surgeon, I have expertise in breast-conserving surgeries, skin-sparing and nipple-sparing mastectomies, sentinel lymph node biopsies, and axillary lymph node dissections, with an emphasis on aesthetic outcomes. My research interests focus on delivering high-value surgical care and the implementation of evidence-based approaches for breast cancer treatment. It is an honor to care for you and to be your surgeon.

Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall provider rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst provider possible and 10 is the best provider possible, what number would you use to rate this provider?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all providers. Learn more about our survey process. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
