About Me
I treat a variety of skin conditions and disorders with a particular focus on cutaneous cancers (melanoma, basal, and squamous cell carcinoma). I am hoping to increase access to dermatology by expanding our tele-dermatology service. I am interested in applying technology in an innovative fashion to dermatology. On a personal level, my husband and I are foodies and ever-searching for the best restaurants.

Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall provider rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst provider possible and 10 is the best provider possible, what number would you use to rate this provider?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all providers. Learn more about our survey process. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.

Clinical Focus and Research
I am a health services researcher with a particular focus on measuring quality of life outcomes for a variety of skin disorders. The results of my research will inform physicians and health systems on how therapeutic regimens and strategies impact dermatology patients.
