I underwent a major surgery when I was a kid and from an early age, I could see that doctors made a big difference in my life. I've always wanted to be a part of that - to be able to help patients and make a difference in patients' lives, that is why I became a doctor. I pursued family medicine because I believe in long-term patient-physician relationship. I believe in listening to my patients, discuss multiple treatment options with evidence, risks, benefits, any contraindications, allergies and through shared decision making, come up with an individualized plan for each patient. I care for a wide variety of conditions like chronic or acute diseases, mental health concerns, weight-loss management, annual check-ups and procedures like skin biopsies, joint injections and nexplanon insertion. When I'm not working, I like to read fiction or go hiking.
