About Me
I never thought I wanted to be a doctor until I worked at Planned Parenthood after college. As a medical assistant working with patients, I realized my passion for women’s health. I later went to UNC for medical school and decided to pursue obstetrics and gynecology due to the importance of women’s health care. During residency at UC San Diego, I was fortunate to rotate at the local VA hospital and loved serving our veterans and their families. I knew that I wanted to work at a VA when I completed training. After my fellowship in family planning at Emory University, I couldn’t be happier with my current job! I split my time between Duke, mainly focusing on contraception and pregnancy loss care, and the Durham VA, where I can provide gynecology care to our much deserving, women veterans.
