Clinical Focus and Research

My Research Interests

My research focuses on neurodevelopmental and neuropsychological functioning in pediatric patients. I am particularly interested in developmental and learning challenges in children with pediatric conditions such as prematurity/high-risk birth, as well as neurological, metabolic, and heart diseases and other illnesses that impact neurodevelopment. I participate in clinical studies of neurodevelopmental outcome in infants, toddlers, and school-age children with, a focus on understanding risk factors for poor neurodevelopmental outcome and how to maximize outcomes for these patients.
