About Me

I am an infectious diseases doctor who specializes in treating patients who are immunocompromised, including solid organ transplant recipients and bone marrow transplant recipients. I see patients both before and after transplant to help manage or prevent complications from infection. I chose infectious diseases because it allows me to get to know my patients and treat them as a whole person, rather than focusing on a single organ or part of the body. I enjoy spending much of my free time in the outdoors with my family.

Clinical Focus and Research

My Research Interests

My research interests are in improving diagnostic tests of infection in immunocompromised patients, particularly fungal infections. The earlier and more accurately we can diagnose infection, the more appropriately we can treat it. Additionally, I also have a focus on improving outcomes in hepatitis C solid organ transplant.
