About Me

I have been conducting exercise testing for 20 years, with 14 years of experience in pediatrics. My first clinical pediatric experience was at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland. When I moved to North Carolina, I knew I wanted to work with children at Duke Health. I found my way to the Pediatric Exercise Physiology Lab, where I met and was mentored by Dr. Michael Carboni. We have expanded to include a wider patient population and the ability to accept referrals from non-Duke Health providers. We have patients come to see us and our cardiac specialists from all over the world. My ability to tailor the exercise test to fit both the patient and help provide information to the clinician is what sets our lab apart. Whether it's the teen athlete with syncope, the preschooler with a genetic arrhythmia, or the routine care of a Fontan child, each patient is treated as an individual.
