About Me
I am a surgical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of skin cancers, including melanoma, squamous carcinoma, and basal cell carcinoma. I work together with doctors from other specialties at Duke Health to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for our patients and ensure we offer the most up-to-date treatments for our patients.

Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall provider rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst provider possible and 10 is the best provider possible, what number would you use to rate this provider?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all providers. Learn more about our survey process. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
Training and Education
Clinical Focus and Research
My research focuses on how surgeons change their practice in response to new medical breakthroughs for patients with cancer. My goal is to develop strategies that will help surgeons rapidly change their practice when new information and treatments become available. This work will help ensure patients have access to high-quality, evidence-based treatments as soon as they become available.
