About Me
I became a family medicine doctor because my goal is to be able to enhance the quality of life of the different members of the family unit. I enjoy spending time with humans of all ages and having the opportunity to counsel all people through the unique challenges that come with the different stages of life. I aim to empower my patients to be active participants in their health care goals by focusing on nutrition, physical activity, and consistency which will decrease the risk of cardiovascular events that lead to hospitalization and decreased quality of life. I am a proponent of women's health. I perform preventive exams, such as pap smears, and encourage sexual health awareness with regular screening and testing, birth control counseling, and placement procedures. I am a fierce advocate for mental health issues and want all my patients to address the problems that prevent them from living their happiest lives. Ultimately, I want to create positive, life-changing outcomes with my patients. A fun-fact about me is that I speak Spanish fluently.
