About Me
I have been a heart rhythm specialist at Duke for more than 15 years. My favorite part of my job is helping people. One of the nice things about electrophysiology is that we have the opportunity to fix many patients’ heart rhythm disorders. We use technology and medicines to fix heart arrhythmias that weren’t available just 10 to 15 years ago. I think the combination of Duke’s excellent facilities, being able to use the best available equipment in the field, and the very talented people that work here is what makes Duke such a special place. I’ve always felt that it’s a great privilege to work at Duke and with the tools available at this institution.

Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall provider rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst provider possible and 10 is the best provider possible, what number would you use to rate this provider?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all providers. Learn more about our survey process. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
