Clinical Focus and Research
My clinical focus is on using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and mindfulness-based interventions to help adolescents and adults live vital and meaningful lives. This includes helping individuals cope with anxiety, depression, eating difficulties, and adjustment to medical illness. My research interests are focused on the study and treatment of eating disorders in the context of medical illness (e.g., type 1 diabetes, cancer).
