About Me
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and that specializes in the treatment of the impact of trauma, chronic emotion dysregulation, depression, and high-risk behaviors, such as suicidal thoughts or behaviors or substance use. Fostering collaboration by partnering with youth, families, and adults are at the foundation of my clinical work. My practice is informed by evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, parent management training, and parent-child interaction therapy. I strongly believe in the power of incorporating strengths and methods of healing for adults, families, and youth from different backgrounds into a holistic approach to treatment. Outside of my clinical work, my professional interests include social justice, public policy, research, and advocacy efforts focused on the impact of trauma and systemic inequities for children, youth, and families. I also study the intersection between trauma exposure and high-risk behavior.

Clinical Focus and Research
My professional role includes a focus on social justice, public policy, research, and advocacy efforts targeting the impact of trauma and systemic inequities for children, youth, and families. I am lucky enough to partner with communities in these efforts and believe in the importance of community-led efforts. I also have a research focus on the intersection between trauma exposure and high-risk behavior, such as suicidal thoughts or behavior and substance use, including methods of prevention and intervention.
