Conditions we treat include:
- Aneurysms in the abdomen, legs, or arms
- Carotid artery disease
- Claudication (cramping during walking)
- Dialysis access for kidney failure
- Leg or arm blockages
- Peripheral artery disease
- Peripheral edema (fluid buildup or swelling in the legs or arms)
- Varicose veins
- Vein problems
- Wound management and debridement
Surgical Services
We will help determine whether surgery is the best option for you. We may order imaging studies such as an ultrasound or CT scan, or refer you to other specialists to ensure surgery would be safe for you. We perform sclerotherapy in our office. Other surgeries are performed at Duke Regional Hospital, Duke University Hospital, and Davis Ambulatory Surgical Center. After surgery, we’ll schedule follow-up visits to check that your wounds are healing properly and that your treatment goals are being met.
Accepted Insurance
Duke Health contracts with most major health insurance carriers and transplant networks, including the ones listed below. Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher. We will contact you regarding your coverage and patient liability. If you are uninsured, learn more about our financial assistance policy.
