Screening and diagnostic imaging is performed at our freestanding, independent diagnostic testing facility (IDTF) in Wake Forest. This radiology clinic is accredited by the American College of Radiology.

After logging in, mobile app users should click the green 'Schedule an Appointment' button on their 'Appointments' screen. If you do not have a My Duke Health account, you may request a mammogram appointment.

These images are read by board-certified Duke radiologists who are subspecialized in fields that include abdominal imaging, breast imaging, cardiac imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, and thoracic imaging. As subspecialists, they are expertly equipped to accurately interpret scans of specific parts of the body.
Their involvement, and our imaging center’s accreditation with the American College of Radiology, ensures our commitment to provide you with the safest and highest quality care possible.

Accepted Insurance
Duke Health contracts with most major health insurance carriers and transplant networks, including the ones listed below. Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher. About Us
Duke Imaging Heritage is an ACR-accredited facility for Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, and Computed Tomography, which represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety.
Duke Imaging Heritage is a part of Duke Health Heritage, which is located off South Main Street in Wake Forest, NC. This multi-specialty health facility is home to primary care and many specialty clinics.
As a Duke patient you have access to My Duke Health, an online patient portal that makes it easier than ever to manage your health care online. My Duke Health allows you to see your test results, request prescription refills, schedule appointments, and communicate with your provider – all online.
Preparing For Your Visit
Children are not permitted to accompany patients into imaging procedures. You may bring another adult to supervise your children during your imaging exam, or you can reschedule your appointment by calling 919-684-7999.
