About Us

Preparing For Your Visit
Thank you for choosing Duke Pediatric Neurosurgery. Our goal is to provide excellent care, personalized to your needs. During your visit you will meet with one of our advance practice providers (physician assistant or nurse practitioner) and a neurosurgeon. If any imaging such as an MRI is needed, we will try to complete it on the same day before your meeting with your care providers. Imaging may take 15 minutes to 4 hours depending on whether your child requires sedation for the scan and what is imaged. If you are coming for routine follow-up care, your visit may be between 30 and 45 minutes, which includes the check in process, intake vital signs, comprehensive exam, and review of imaging with your surgeon. We thank you for your confidence and trust in the pediatric neurosurgical team at Duke.
Accessibility Services
We provide equal access for all people and offer a range of free accessibility services to patients and visitors who need them.
