About Me
I was only going to stay at Duke Health for a few years and suddenly I've been here for over 30 years! My experience includes cardiothoracic surgery, emergency medicine, intensive care, and administrative positions. Learning new things still intrigues me, and I'm grateful to be working with surgeons of the cohesive Duke Sarcoma Team. Our multidisciplinary team meets twice weekly with physician colleagues to review radiographic images, pathology, and discuss individual treatment plans. I strive to meet the needs of our patients in the ever-changing world of medicine. Duke Health may be big, but you will find us accessible, responsive, and we treat you like family. My husband and I have three adult children and we enjoy travel, cooking, and entertaining.

The Patient Rating score is an average of all responses to care provider related questions on our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Learn more about our survey process. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey.
