About Me
I am an orthopaedic surgeon that specializes in the management of shoulder/elbow conditions. My practice includes minimally invasive arthroscopy, ligament/tendon/rotator cuff repair, labral repair, fracture care, and joint replacement. I am also focused on helping patients with difficult diagnoses, including those who have undergone prior surgery, have large or irreparable tears, and patients with significant bone loss/deformity.
My goal is to provide individualized care for each patient, so that at the end of each visit patients are educated regarding their specific diagnosis, treatment options (both operative and non-operative), as well as the risks and benefits of each option. Through a discussion of the most relevant and up-to-date data, I aim to help patients make the best decision for themselves regarding their health, given their specific goals, timelines, and background.

Clinical Focus and Research
My research interests are focused on understanding the causes and natural history of shoulder arthritis, identifying and optimizing anatomic and reverse shoulder replacement design, and investigating and developing ways to minimize complications after shoulder replacement surgery. I additionally have a focus on techniques to improve healing after rotator cuff surgery, as well as improving outcomes after shoulder instability surgery.
