About Me
I specialize in advanced heart failure and cardiomyopathy, with a focus on helping patients with heart conditions that run in their families. I understand that living with heart failure can be overwhelming, especially when it's linked to your family's health history. My goal is to provide clear, compassionate care and support, guiding you through every step of managing your condition whether that is understanding your diagnosis, exploring genetic testing options, or the before and after heart transplantation journey. I’m committed to ensuring you feel informed and confident in your care so we can work together to achieve the best possible health outcomes.

Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall provider rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst provider possible and 10 is the best provider possible, what number would you use to rate this provider?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all providers. Learn more about our survey process. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.

Clinical Focus and Research
My research is dedicated to understanding how different genetic heart conditions, like cardiomyopathies, develop and progress over time. I'm passionate about this work because it helps us tailor treatments specifically to each patient's unique heart condition. I’m also interested in how advanced imaging, like cardiac MRI, can give us clearer insights into these heart conditions, allowing us to better understand and manage them.
