About Me
I chose to become a primary care provider because I value the importance of preventive care. That means preventing illness and helping you get well before complications from conditions like high blood pressure or diabetes require hospitalization. I want to be your partner in your healthcare journey, helping you become your best self. I prioritize holistic care because I understand that each person is unique and deserves a provider who listens, treats them with respect, and communicates transparently. I see adults of all ages with a variety of concerns—some small, others requiring more complex management—and I’m here to help you achieve your healthcare goals.
I decided to pursue healthcare after caring for a loved one at the end of life. As a nurse at Duke University Hospital, I helped patients and their families through times of joy and sorrow, building meaningful relationships. My goal is to be there for you in the same way.

The Patient Rating score is an average of all responses to care provider related questions on our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Learn more about our survey process. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.

Clinical Focus and Research
I am working towards my Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) which will help me be more prepared to lead Quality Improvement for patients in our community, and abroad. I am passionate about holistic, accessible healthcare and treating the patient where they are. I work with providers from Lincoln Community Health Center to visit patients in their homes with medical and NP students, while working on publishing results from these hybrid virtual patient encounters.
