About Me

I have been working at Duke Sports Medicine Physical Therapy since 2006. In 2014, I helped start the Duke Sports Concussion Clinic which aims to provide innovative care and comprehensive management to local athletes who have sustained a concussive injury. As the program manager, I help maintain our referral pathways to ensure concussed patients have access to the treatments that they need for their recovery. I perform physical therapy evaluations that focus on providing specific interventions for sports concussions to help facilitate recovery. I also have extensive experience treating a variety of orthopedic surgical procedures for knee and shoulder injuries to help return individuals to active lifestyles and sports.

Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher. We will contact you regarding your coverage and patient liability. If you are uninsured, learn more about our financial assistance policy.
