Sound Bath Meditation

A Sound Bath Meditation is an immersive experience that uses resonant sounds to calm the nervous system and promote mind-body connection. A facilitator uses a variety of instruments – such as Crystal bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, drums, chimes, harps and more – shown to have restorative effects on the body.

Like other meditation practices, a sound bath is generally experienced lying down or in an otherwise comfortable position. Participants often use various props to ensure their comfort, such as a bolster underneath the knees, eye mask and blankets.
