What is the Purpose of this Study?

We are doing this study to find out if pelvic floor physical therapy can improve sexual function for women who have undergone pelvic radiation.

What is the Condition Being Studied?

Female Sexual Function after Cancer Treatment

Who Can Participate in the Study?

Women ages 19+ who:

  • Received pelvic radiation as part of their treatment for gynecological or gastrointestinal cancer (cervical, endometrial, vulvar, vaginal, anal, and/or rectal cancer)
  • Have been referred to physical therapy for pelvic floor rehabilitation
  • Do not have any currently active or relapsed cancer

What is Involved?

If you choose to join this study, we will ask you to fill out a general wellness survey and sexual function survey before you start pelvic floor physical therapy. We will send you a similar survey to fill out after you finish your physical therapy. This study is done completely online.
