What is the Purpose of this Study?
We are doing this study to see if people have the L1 gene called apolipoprotein (APOL1) and to learn how this may affect them.
What is the Condition Being Studied?
Adult and Pediatric Kidney Transplant
Who Can Participate in the Study?
Adults who are:
- African American
- Afro-Caribbean
- Hispanic black or African who have have had a kidney transplant from an African American, Afro-Caribbean, Hispanic black, or African donor
Age Group
Adults, Children
What is Involved?
If you choose to be in this study, we will ask you to provide a urine sample.
